Riverside doctors' surgery aims to provide the highest quality healthcare to patients in its area. Our doctors, nurses and support staff are dedicated to offering a professional service and this surgery website will help us to keep all our patients up to date with news and information about our practice.
As well as a source of information about our practice, the staff and the services we provide, we hope you will use this website as a useful resource for other health-related information. Please have a look around and do send us some feedback, if you like. We can use your ideas to improve our online services and further develop the content of this site.
All our surgeries have easy access and comply fully with the Disabilty Discrimination Act.
See the appointments page for full details of our opening and consulting times.
Text Message Services
Are you signed up to receive SMS text message notification for appointments, we are now sending SMS text messages to notify you of a normal result, sending advice, reminding you to book an appointment or leave a message if we fail to contact you.
This is a clinical text message service only that does not offer clinical enquires or conversations, so you cannot reply to it.
We just need to know your current mobile number and check you have given us consent to send a SMS text message to you.
Try the new NHS App
If you’re a patient at our practice you can now use the new NHS App, a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet.
You can use the NHS App to check your symptoms and get instant advice, book appointments, order repeat prescriptions, view your GP medical record and more.
If you already use Patient Services you can continue to use it. You can use the NHS App as well.
